Client analytics data:

(Google Analytics, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram)

Data Empowered provides analytics, reporting, and dashboard services to business clients. As part of these services, we may process aggregated performance data from client-owned digital platforms, where we have been explicitly authorised by the client to do so.

Client analytics data may include data accessed via Google services (such as Google Analytics and YouTube Analytics) and Meta platforms (such as Facebook and Instagram), using secure OAuth-based authorisation mechanisms provided by those platforms.

What data we process

We process aggregated, non-user-level analytics data, which may include:

  • dates

  • impressions or views

  • content interactions (such as reactions, comments, shares, or clicks)

  • other high-level performance metrics provided by platform APIs

We do not access:

  • private messages

  • personal content

  • follower lists

  • user identifiers

  • sensitive personal data

Purpose of processing

Client analytics data is processed solely for:

  • analytics reporting

  • dashboards and visualisations

  • performance monitoring

  • trend analysis and insights

We do not use this data for advertising, profiling individuals, surveillance, or any purpose unrelated to the client’s analytics requirements.

Authorisation

We only process analytics data for accounts that:

  • are owned or controlled by the client, and

  • where the client has explicitly granted Data Empowered appropriate access through the relevant platform (for example Meta Business Manager, Google permissions, or equivalent).

Access to Google and YouTube data is granted via Google’s OAuth consent process and can be revoked by the client at any time through their Google account permissions or by requesting removal of access from Data Empowered.

Data storage and security

Client analytics data is stored securely using cloud infrastructure (including Google Cloud services such as BigQuery), primarily in UK and/or EU data regions where possible.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

Each client’s data is kept logically separated from that of other clients.

Data Empowered does not sell, rent, or use Google or YouTube data for advertising or for any purpose other than providing analytics services to the authorised client.

Data retention

Client analytics data is retained only for as long as:

  • it is required to deliver the agreed services, or

  • required by applicable law.

Data is deleted when the service ends or earlier upon the client’s request.

Data sharing

Client analytics data is:

  • shared only with the relevant client, and

  • with trusted service providers strictly as necessary to deliver the services (for example cloud hosting providers), under contractual obligations to protect the data.

We do not sell, licence, or share client analytics data with third parties for their own purposes.

Data deletion requests

Clients may request deletion of their analytics data at any time by contacting:

Email: gosia@data-empowered.co.uk
Subject: Data deletion request

Upon verification, we will delete the relevant data and revoke access where applicable.
